So far I haven't noticed any draining issues on my Note 2 N7100 model, and it's always cool to the touch. Power Saving is enabled.

I'm in a few groups, but most of my contacts are quiet today, too.

I'm gonna have to retract my comment, at first when I was using it a lot there wasn't any significant drain but now it spends more time on stand by I'm noticing a bigger drain on the battery

i have a s4 verizon version ..... it does eat battery life but its not constant some days battery lasts long other days it dies fast when you use bbm alot and have alot of chats open it goes down fast ... n some days it does not .... if i hardly use bbm the phone sips battery

I have HTC Droid DNA, BBM reduced my battery life about 50% and my phone was getting really hot also. I was going to install BBM on my friends and family phones but because of the issues, I uninstalled BBM today. I've been an Android user since June 2011 and I have never had an app do something like that to my phones.

Bbm on nexus 4 running stock 4.3 and Samsung S2 stock 4.1 has no battery drain and no noticeably high wakelocks. No impact on battery life.
