It's been 4 days since I did the new update on my z10 and still can't send messages from my BBM, all I get is the red clock beside the message then a red X. I'm through sask tel in Canada. Any word on what the problem is?

Do you have a data plan? Is there an outage in your area? Have you called your carrier to see what the problem could be. All things I would try as well.

    Yeah,i tried rebooting, restoring
My phone to before the new update and nothing works. I contacted my carrier and the said I might have to bring my phone in to have it wiped...hoping there is another option.

    Same problem here.
Had bbm installed in both personal en work spaces. Could videochat, but not send messages (red clock - even after 24h).
Uninstalled bbm in work space. When booting bbm from personal space, it doesn't even start - it just shows a 'dimmed' blackberry splash screen for 30sec or so, and then just kills the process. rebooting doesn't help.

Stupid thing: I cannot uninstall BBM apparently (to re-install it). There is no 'trash bin' that appears......

I've been having the same issues when trying to BBM my cross-platform contacts. I can BBM BlackBerry users but not Android or iPhone users. I get the same red X every time I send a BBM to Android or iPhone users. I tried that registering trick but if didn't work for me. Any suggestions?
