Well u bet many android users will never move to BlackBerry cause why should they when bbm will be in their Android device.

I bet with BlackBerry 10.2 having 4.2 jelly bean app player had something to do with bbm going cross platform.

    Give and take is all.

But for BlackBerry bbm is a top app program that was exclusive to BlackBerry devices. This like I noted before is not a good solution to gain BlackBerry sales.

Why get a bb device if you can have BBM on your Android device, yeah maybe it's only exclusive to the S4 and future devices, but that means sales for Samsung, Maybe BlackBerry gets a slight pocket change from every device sold with BBM on it to make more money and that would be good for sure, but what about BlackBerry sales?

The middle east Samsung is gaining ground over BlackBerry sales right now according to some reports, so BlackBerry is having it tough selling in many markets right now.

I sure hope BlackBerry makes a Android Device along with BB10 devices as that would be awesome for BlackBerry sales.

Imagine a z10 or whatever number of device having android and of course bb10 one as well, which would you buy?

Lol they would use a frigging legacy device in the ad...bastards

On a positive note advertising during a Chelsea/Man U game gets huge ratings.

On a side note why doesn't BlackBerry sponsor a Premier team like Samsung?

I'm sorry. But almost no one even has BBM anymore. I seriously doubt people get a BlackBerry solely because of BBM. I know I didn't. Nor anyone I've come across with a Z10. I don't think BlackBerry is really giving up anything too big. If anything, current users will stay because our friends with Apple or Android devices now have BBM and we actually have someone to message with lol (okay I doubt they will stay because of that, but if anything it'll be positive). Just my opinion.

Let's not forget that BIS is also a main attraction for BlackBerry legacy device users (Old and new) So while BBM on Samsung may not just yet cut it.

It seems that everbody knows the power BBM but Blackberry

They should have created a halo effect with BBM to attract people to BB10.

Bet you, it would also be good for BBM. Its probably the "shot in the arm" BBM needs to burst on to the cross-platform scene.

That's because they know it'll drive a lot of users to Samsung.

Yes I believe users will all get pins. According to the user manuals for Android and ios you can add a contact via email pin or phone number

All devices have a pin regardless of manufacturer.

Pin to Pin messaging is a separate feature to BBM. I'm not sure about that going to Android devices, I haven't seen anything about that.
