Okay guys so here is my situation.
I have a plan from Rogers that gives me unlimited BBM but no data. Sobi upgraded my phone from a crappy, glitchy 9790 to a brand new Nexus 5. Now Rogers tells me that the unlimited BBM is only on blackberries and there is nothing they can do to let me use BBM without data or wifi so I was wondering if there is anything I can do to fix that.
I remember a couple months ago my friend configured the APN TCP/IP settings to allow me to run whatsapp on my BBM service do I was wondering if I could do something like that to get me what I need.
Pleeeease help. In desperate need of assistance.

For BBM to work on Android, you need a data plan, no other way, sorry. Or go on WIFI

He's right. The Android devices don't use the BlackBerry Internet Service like the old BBs. Neither do BB10 devices.

My advice is to embrace the future and get a real data plan

Or if you must, get the smallest data plan, and make sure you don't use anything else besides BBM as its usage is negligible.
