Anyhow why don't you explain here. Tried with ur way without success. BBM keep crashing whatever image I choose.

Tried with bluestacks. No success either. Bluestacks mimic gingerbread, BBM need at least ics (4.0).

Also tried with hack version shared at xda one, that stated cud installed on 2.3, and nah.. Won't work either.

windows 8.1 pro. Just do what he says ... and no need for bbm apk, as market should work if you had set this up correctly.

Does it mean you sign out of BBM on the phone? Or can you be signed in on both at the same time?

Just to clarify, you will use genymotion to register your virtual device, but you will need the oracle virtual box to drive and do things with. One thing to note, do this on a separate PC as this will stuff up your RFA, learned that the hard way. As I do not have a spare PC, have removed this.

And OP try and link to the updated files lol. Pretty sure that the virtual box version now ends with 8 not 2.

I was just going to post this but it seems it's already known.

I'll add that there is no need to grab the APK, as Genymotion can integrate Google Play APIs. When you build a new machine, select one with "Google Apps". I built a "Galaxy Nexus - 4.2.2 - with Google Apps - API 17 - 720x1280". Running it on Windows 7.

BBM installs perfectly from the Play Store, and I have it logged in with a new BBID and chatting with my phone.

You guys are doing everything to stress and break the BBM servers. I seen a video tutorial for all Kindle fire tablets. Yet our beloved PlayBook stays obsolete
