BBM OS 10.3 - where's the mic?

I updated to 10.3 recently and I love it. Only issue so far may or may not have to do with BlackBerry Assistant. I want to respond via voice-to-text from within BBM itself, from within the reply box. There used to be a microphone icon on the period key that I could use. It's gone now? The new voice recognition with BA is so much better than it was. I'd like to be able to use it inside BBM and not have to keep going directly through BA each and every time. Anybody know how to make this happen?

Check if Voice Dictation is set to On: Settings -> Language and Input -> Voice Dictation

You are the man! Thanks so much. Worked like a charm. I question why that's turned off by default? Seems like an oversight to me. But he, I still love my BB.

Oh. Well I updated my wife's phone to 10.3 also. I'll have to see if hers is off too.
