Why would u want to have to choose between text and bbm in the bbm app? , would u ever rather text somebody than bbm them for free?

For me, bbm is the only one I would use. Nothing else. Put SMS in stuff folder with LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter together (is any way we can delete them?).

Thanks kja123 and others who pointed me to the correct Help files for this. Sometimes a solution is right in front of you but just out of sight. :-)

BBM on BBOS7 has this feature, you can add a text contact I get where the OP coming from, right now I am texting my partner instead of BBMing her, reason? She has no data signal on her phone while at her uni but can receive texts. Couldn't BBM ping the contact see if they are avail on BBM, if not fallback to standard text all int eh same interface?
