    Is it just me.. or does anyone else think they should have added "Invite by Whatsapp" to BBM? Would have been a great way to poach users. Just a thought that popped into my head when Im using BBM for the first time in my life.

    Whatsapp uses phone numbers, you can invite via phone number
    But I know what you mean.. if they did that, it wouldn't Facebook chat be better

    It's a thought.. but if you have them in what's app that means you have their phone number.. so it's pretty much the same to invite via text.

    No no... what I meant is that it would automatically send the pre-typed invite via Whatsapp to one of your Whatsapp contacts.

    I think that would require access to WA APIs.
