If we can get the logs and files of an already installed and working device onto an iPod and replace them there is a slight possibility of getting it to work.




Now what I'm thinkinmight be an issue is it might need to have the same apple ID on both devices

If we look carefully at a log file above (ids-xxxxxx.txt), we'll find that BBM check the UserAgent first, before the UI is completely open.
When it's known that this is an iPod touch, the BBM won't continue the process.

I guess this is not about BlackBerry ID or Apple ID, until now I still be able to receive notification of new messages (on v1.0.3), either chat messages, broadcast or PING!!!
When the notification was opened, always stuck in the language page again.

By installing now the 1.0 and signing in it stops by a no Internet page

Hey, I'm new and have signed up just for this.

Anyway I found something interesting which may or may not be of any relevance. But anyway:

I have an ipad 3 wifi only and have downloaded BBM. It works!!!! But I wanted BMM on my iPod, so using that whatsapp method mentioned earlier I got the .ipa file on my ipod. I then replaced the documents and library folders on my ipod with the ones from my iPad.

I kept my iPod connected to the computer (and ifunbox) and ran BMM and it worked!!!!!

But after disconnecting my iPod from the computer and trying again it didn't work and got stuck at the language page.
Hope this helps you guys figuring out a solution.

P.S: I want to get whatsapp on my iPod but I'm not in possession of an iPhone. Can anyone help??

Another confirmation, iPod5 direct download works, 4 still gives a "this app requires GPS" msg
