    Hey!

I'm looking to enable BBM on the BES for our work devices.

What would happen if the BES went down? Would BBM still work?

Does the BBM traffic go exclusively though the BES?

Not sure, but I think BBM has independent servers.

I thought that. I know the BES can monitor conversations though so I wasn't sure if all traffic goes through the BES first.

All traffic that goes through out proxy has to go through the BES first.

I'm asking this because currently if the BES goes down all our users can do is make calls and texts. If they could use BBM this would be more secure, especially if we could add BBM Protect licences to these users.
