    I happen to have professional investors group on WhatsApp
    with whatsapp group limit of 256 members, I think BBM can up their game but offering 500 members limit.
    we tried telegram but it didn't work out as ppl who don't even login for month appear as members. no system exists in whatsapp to show list of inactive members for N numbers of days.
    telegram has stat bot but it doesn't show individual message reading for individual members.

    admin can delete any message in telegram while it can't be done in whatsapp.

    there is no labelling or marking option in whatsapp or telegram which can be utilised for warning members who commit group rules violations.

    in all there is still space for BBM to fill the deficiencies and make a come back.

    I totally agree with you but I have no idea why BBM is not working on these or is taking such a long time to work on them and let the competition get ahead.

    They're making enough money selling stickers and ads. That's why.
