Maybe its the time difference from our individual locations and BlackBerry BBM server based in Canada .

For example im in Malaysia which is +8 GMT. 24th for me is 23rd for the hypothetical server in Canada.

I remember this because BBM is sensitive to our individual time stamps and can mess up group conversation time lines.

Disagree.

Let's be secure enough to create PINs to communicate but openly share people's DOB. I suppose if you had the option like "share what I'm listening to".

My birthday is also one day off, a day prior - it's weird...

Using BBM Channels you were asked to enter your birthday in earlier version especially in beta. But why it's one day earlier - no idea. Have the same issue

For some reason, I'm assuming the reason being it was beta, the birth date would rollback one day. I was constantly installing leaks and having to reload the beta of BBM channels. I thought maybe I was being careless on input. Nope, it was channels.

So I'm guessing much of the birthday issues is residual from the beta version of BBMC.

I never used the Beta version of BlackBerry Channels and my birthday is also a day off. I'm more concerned on how BBM knew my birthday when I never once entered it

Guys... cmon! they got your birthday when you created the BlackBerry ID and registered for BBM. I remember it perfectly cause I just created one for my mom last week.
