I thought I'd start this thread to hear about how people are spreading the word on BBM, and the responses people are getting. I've been doing my part for sure, but notices that it takes a little gentle persuasion to get people to download another app that does the same thing in their minds as one they always have. Remember, not everyone cares about D and R.

Have you guys developed any strategies for convincing people? Have you had success? I've done a decent job by telling them that the fill version of BBM is coming, so I hope it really is coming soon. Until this happens I don't think we will see a huge jump in numbers. When it does happen, if it happens soon, I think that we really can see BBM takeover, but in the meantime...

What are you guys doing to spread the word?

I see young people every day in high school and when someone asks or comments, I demonstrate my phone for them.

No strategies. I just show my friends that I talk to the most BBM and see if they want to try it.
