I have a bb torch 9810 I bought from a person on craigslist. Phone works for calls and texting, and wifi. Won't go onto BBM.
Also, can't get email to set up. Only option is Enterprise Activation. Also won't use my ATT plan(so I don't need wifi)
I have tried wiping it with no change to my problems. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!

Well, your phone needs a special service BIS
(BlackBerry Internet service). Contact ATT!

You need a BlackBerry BIS enabled plan. Contact your provider to have access to BIS.

I have contacted ATT. I have the same blackberry plan that I have had for years. It worked with my other 9810 that I lost. They insist I have the correct plan.

Have you checked your apn under tcp/ip? You may have a BIS plan but if your apn isn't configured for AT&T, that may be the one preventing u from using bbm and setting up your email.

Have you checked to ensure that the OS is updated and you've signed in with your BlackBerry ID. Your BlackBerry ID should load your email accounts and when you click on BBM it will recognize you had a prior device and ask if you'd like to apply BBM settings to your new phone.
