I have a chat session with someone in Romania that has gone berserk since yesterday. For hours on end I am getting messages within the chat from high numbers of random users, most who are also complaining about this problem. Ending the chat takes care of it...for a short time, then it resurrects and all the messages come flooding back.
It's like it has been hacked. Chat user count displays as "99+".
Any advice?

Is this supposed to be a one-on-one chat, or a group chat? Take a screen shot just and post it here for kicks.

Here's a screen scrap after ending the chat then doing a phone restart....all came flooding in again.

I believe this was a single person chat....been on my BBM for many months, no activity.
Might have to try a delete if all my BBM chat histories, but I'm not optimistic it will solve this.

OK, I found the contact in my list and deleted it. But, chat msgs still apoearing....might need time filter and catch up.
What mess.
Anyone care to speculate what is happening here?

Also gave a single BBM notification in Hub from this chat, a stranger, not original person, and this msg cannot be deleted from my hub... I get the delete confirm pop up, but approving dies not clear that hub msg.
Update: seems I had to first select it with check mark icon, then the delete worked.

Seems to be settled down now that contact is removed. Still getting a few notifications on hub....but numbers way down.

Can u share the pin of that person? I'm getting the same annoying group messages and I'm about to slap someone. Maybe it's the same person
That was first thing I tried....although it was removed, it would keep returning.

I've had this happen and everyone in the chat gets pissed cuz nobody knows who started it lol. Just leave the chat usually stops it
