Sorry if already posted, I searched "bbm + memory" and did not see it.
(Side Q, is + used as proper search parameter on CB?)

Seems as though all displayed gifs and pics are loaded in memory when opening a channel view (channel list, or within a channel) .
This makes sense but can slow down your phone if you have 60 channels like I did. Cleaned up now to 25

BBM contacts or convo seems to use a fraction of the memory.

To see for yourself open different bbm channel views and see device monitor in 10.2.1.
