    Was it purchased new or was it previously used by someone else? This sounds eerily like it still has an IT Policy on it from an employer where it was hooked up to their BES for email.

    Try using sachesi and instead of doing all the bar files just do the bbm one and I'm sure that will work. Do you know how to use sachesi?

    No, I'm not familiar with Sachesi. Is it something I do through my phone or through a desktop computer?

    Sachesi is a loader you download to your computer. Allows you to install os and bar files non destructively. It took me a bit to figure it out at first but it's really is simple.
