I think it is down to OS they haven't catered for 4.3 up

I dont think so if this would be the case channels would also not work. But channels work fine on my 4.3 OS but not messages.

And you're still in the waiting list? This is so weird, why does it work for some and doesn't for others? What was BlackBerry gonna lose anyway if it opened the beta for everyone, whether on bb10 or Android?!! And why is there no beta for iPhone?

I'm am on the waiting list with the same bbid I use for bbm and when I had my blackberry never changed bbid. It does not work for me to message but channels work i am also on 4.3 so that has nothing to do with it cuz they need to test on 4.4 to down to 4.0 guess we have to wait simple bb wants a limited beta cool I'm good with out the bugs I'll wait

If you can't send messages, it's not working. I can view channels also.

Would be cool if they update bb10 bbm betas. I really hope they don't miss this opportunity to include multi picture select and more then 6mb. Why have a beta if your only sampling new UI design and more emoticons.

I got my emails too but I switched to a new gmail account . The BBId is switched to the new gmail account but the beta download from Google play is attached to the old gmail account so no beta testing for me right now.

I have friends and family who use IOS just like Android, so I care about IOS cause I don't want them to have a worse experience than what they are already experiencing in the current version of BBM for IOS.

Sure, I can share the latest apk beta but it will be of no use because your new BBID is not registered with beta version. So it will be a waste of time for you.
