Anyone else install the beta with BBM Channels only to have all your contacts display pics gone? Only like 10% of my contacts' pictures came back, but still a lot missing. D'oh!

Thats unfortunate. I installed the latest BBM Channels beta for BB10 yesterday but I havent faced this issue. It is in Beta after all so I guess bugs are to be expected. Hopefully the final release will fix this.

Maybe it's cause Channels is undergoing maintenance..their beta zone channel says so

Haha that's unlikely to happen.

I ran it on my Q10 with another bbid and it was fine. My z10 was the buggy one.

Currently there is no such option, but they will add it in future releases, even for Z10!

Damn! Had I known. White background chatting on a super amoled screen drains battery easily. The should have made special update for Q10 as this white theme was meant for the Z10.

Updating to the new beta means a fresh install of BBM. It takes about 36 hours for everything to settle. What I find is by changing your name, just by one character (like add a dot at the end), will help sync you up again.

This happens to me everytime I fresh install the OS or install a beta update. Everything goes back to normal after a day or two.
