I'm using BlackBerry Classic and I tried voice chat(call) on BBM with some of friends yesterday,but I couldn't make call with all of them.I'm being on only mobile network,having no Wifi environment.
Is it normal specication of BBM(for BB10)?Or,do I have any of problem?

I'm sorry if I do very elementary asking.

Same problem here. Unable to make a BBM voice call from BB10 to android or ios BBM, when the person answers the call I have an error message. Android or ios BBM can call me, I hear them but they can't hear me

Oh,that's same as me at all.
Which environment did you try them under,Wi-fi or mobile network?

Oh,really?I'd tried it under Wi-Fi about 4 months ago,and it had well done with no problem.But on now,is it having problem?

I'm having the same issue with using BBM with my Z30. IPhone voice calls, I answer, I can hear caller, she can't hear me. Then disconnects. If I call back it says connecting but continues ringing and never connects. This just started on the 16th.

Isn’t functionality between Android/IOS BBM and the BB10 version broken regarding calling features because Emtek develops Android/IOS BBM?

I thought that only applied to video calls. It had been working fine for over a year. Suddenly it doesn't work. Something has changed. No updates, just stopped working.

Nothing has changed. When the BBM split between bb10 and android/ ios was announced. It was also said that video and voice calling would stop working cross platform for bb10 at some point.

Seems we may have hit that point. Will have to play with my passport and see.

I used WhatsApp some months ago to make a video call from BB10 to iPhone without problems.... (It was in April or May). Which problem do you mean here?

There is great disagreement on here about cross platform functionality and slow degradation of BBM app between the BB10 and Emtek Android/IOS version.

I was referring to similar type situation with people having various levels of user experience, good and bad, on BB10 using WhatsApp. Not specifically about WhatsApp and video calling. More about SOME people experiencing a general breakdown with their specific usage needs.

That's totally same as my circumstance.
I can't call but they can call me.But,I can hear their voice,and they can't hear my voice.
Could we expect to be fixed this symptom?

Same happening to me. Contact said BBM Android had a new update that installed automatically on December 10th. Since then no connects except when Android calls BB10 but can't hear voice.

Yes same problem . Z30 to IPhone as well as Samsung. Will this be resolved or is it time to move on to another phone or app?

Just had a successful BBM voice call from a Samsung to my Z30. Then I called back and the recipient could hear me but I could not hear her. However when she called back two way voice communication was working. This was not working yesterday so perhaps something was tweaked somewhere.

You need to contact BB Ltd regarding BBM for BB10 problems
