Hi guys, was anyone here invited to try BBM 2.0 for Android?

I got the email below yesterday but for some reason the optin link gives 404 error

    ###################

    Hello BBM Testers!

Please follow the link below and choose to opt in to the BBM Beta program to update through the Google Play Store! If you do not see the update right away, please try uninstalling BBM and then installing form the Store. Subsequent upgrades should work properly.

    https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.bbm

Once you've updated, make sure to visit Beta Zone and share your experiences in the discussion forums.

    About this group:
External testing for the BBM beta program.

The owner of the group has set your subscription type as "No Email", meaning that you'll need to visit the group's home page to view new messages.

    #################

Can someone please help with a working optin link? The one in the email just doesn't work :-(

    Thanks

It wouldn't open here too, I think the link is wrong cause .com came before bbm but I tried the other way and it still didn't work.

Some folks in the beta forum say that's the same link they got and that it's working for them. I wonder why it's the opposite in my case

Hmmm, I just tried it at work and the link opened. I'm now running BBM for Android beta. I wonder if the initial problem had to do with IP address issues

What's your initial expression about the beta?! Any font size adjustment?

I had to uninstall it as it was making my Lenovo P780 to lag seriously as it was zapping up to 104MB of RAM. I'll transfer it to my Galaxy Note 2 when I get home then leave you some feedback.

Font size is dependent on your system wide font size.

If you've got more questions feel free to ask, I've installed it on my Note 2 now

Is it? Cause this isn't the case in the current version, font size doesn't change with system font size.

Did you try voice calling yet?

Do you have the ability to remove the display names of the contact in the chat bubbles like in BBOS ?

You can't remove display names yet. Just display images.

Well if you've been having issues with font size, this beta version seems to have fixed that :-D

I'm yet to test voice calling as I don't have who to test it on here.
