I am so frustrated with BBM. Not because it isn't great but because I cant convince anyone to use it. When the first roll out came and I did convince people it sucked so bad they wont believe me now. Oh well

Just loaded it up on 10.2.1.1259 and now BBM will not work at all, get a message that BBM has lost connection with the server and it trys to reconnect. Anyone have any ideas?

As far as the hide action bar goes: It is an option for devices with a digital keyboard. Why the bottom bar does not auto-hide on the Q10? No idea! But that is not the same setting.

Is there any way to change the default map service for Glympse? Unfortunately BB Maps does not support my area (Barbados) so clicking on a glympse icon in a BBM message from someone in Barbados takes me to blank screen with a location pointer? Glympses that I send from my Z10 appear as a web URL in my chat and open quickly in my browser tab. Any ideas on how to get around this?

Neither for my brother or other family members on iOS. Tried an unistall too but didn't work.

As an aside, I hope BlackBerry will go to AWB voice format instead of current AMR as AWB sounds much better and is so very little nominally larger than AMR. WhatsApp uses it and you can tell the quality is better. This is in regards to Voice Note sending not BBM Voice calls.

BBM 2.0 is not available for ios yet. The new version of BBM is also not available yet for my Blackberry Torch. When they say it will be released today does that actually mean today? lol. Or does that mean days? Like maybe today or tomorrow or the next day? They said BBM 2.0 would be released in weeks. How many weeks ago was that? I wish I had not gotten the message over the BBM channel about BBM 2.0 being available because now I will keep looking for the upgrade and am frustrated that it's not available yet.

This new update is uber glitchy for me. The app constantly crashes. Had to close and open app multiple times for glimpse to work. Sometimes chats don't open either. Very disappointed they would release such an unstable update

Mine hasn't crashed yet but it's not smooth. The beta release I have on my Z10 is MUCH smoother than this official version. Transitions between contact, chats, updates and groups is jittery and the animations when switching between chats is also "rough". Those not smooth, jittery animations reminded me exactly of how the transitions in the Hub were when the BB10 first launched, unpolished.

I've restarted my phone and this hasn't changed, going to give it some more time though.

Well I was able find the update from Blackberry World for my Blackberry Torch 9800. I see no real differences so far. As far as ios goes no updates yet, although it is possible that BBM 2.0 won't support iPods. I don't know. Does anyone know if BBM 2.0 will run on iPods or is BBM 2.0 strictly for iPhones only?

It is available to all bB10. Just have to refresh updates in blackberry world. Or click on BBM in my world and then sect "update"
