OK ... maybe I don't understand this. I don't use dropbox. I want to send files from my media card to a BBM contact or group. Oh ... can I send videos to a group yet? This is what I want to do.

Sorry... back on topic. If i need to create a dropbox account and store my pics and vids in the cloud, that isn't what I want to do. I want to be able to share directly from my media card and I want to send large files directly. How does this work with dropbox? As I mentioned earlier, I don't want to use an intermediary and it sounds to me that Dropbox is an intermediary.

This new update is uber glitchy for me. The app constantly crashes. Had to close and open app multiple times for glimpse to work. Sometimes chats don't open either. Very disappointed they would release such an unstable update

It's officially in beta testing I believe, so I doubt that this one will work, but it's coming.

Sharing for groups is exactly the same as on BBM 1.0/10.2, only sharing for direct chats now looks like this:

From left to right: Keyboard/Camera/Voice Note/Glympse/Sharing.
Under sharing you have six options: Pictures, Calendar, Contacts, Places, Files, DropBox.
I am not sure what DropBox does for BB10, it just opens the File Manager for me (and you can just browse to Box/Dropbox yourself)... It may just be a special function added for Android devices.

...How does this work with dropbox?..

I made my screenshot above from the Hub, so they can be found there. Even Channels (Latest activity) show up in the Hub now, with a new icon (but not a new category).

There is a certain lag and jitteriness when you open chats, it takes some additional time to load while it chops. Also there is a white screen flash whenever you tap on attachment or emoji icons.

Anybody else experiencing that?
