I'm not aware of any news or rumours.

There are less flashy BBM enhancements needed more urgently:

1. In-line attachments (i.e. pictures) for BBM Group Chats.
2. Default high quality images for BBM Chat, or at least a permanent Request HQ button beside all received thumbnails.
3. Improvements to off-line notifications for iOS and Android.
4. Cross-platform BBM Video.
5. BBM for Windows Phone.

I've never taken the time to find out what BBM Money even is. Is it basically a PayPal type service where you can exchange funds with other BBM users and make payments locally with NFC? That's what I imagine...

I don't think it has to be with NFC. I think it's like a PayPal app, but through BBM.

I want to see:

1. Group notification mute for ios and android.
2. Unread messages seperator within a chat thread
3. Choice between phone number and pin based ID. (this is to skyrocket BBM userbase)
4. Stickers in group chats
5. In line pictures in group chats which on tap brings you to the comment page.
6. Multi platform BBM video
7. Posting channel posts on BBM groups.

I think they need to redesign the app for iPhone and Android. Optimize it for their own OS.

An apple die hard friend complains of the UI, sure it looks like blackberry but it shouldn't. It should look like an iOS app. Also his iPad version is just a blown up version of the iPhone app. It should be it's own separate design.

I know BlackBerry doesn't have the money or manpower to fast track this stuff but it needs to be done. Quickly!

Excellent list, these are exactly the things I've been hoping for as well. Plus a desktop client. With the recent addition of a landscape mode - could they be gearing up to launch it on tablets (and no, not necessarily a BlackBerry tablet)?
