    When changing from one phone to another and swapping sim card.
    Have to login to BlackBerry ID to load BBM contacts it send an auto notice to users in my contact list? Is there a way to stop this? Thanks

    I think it is treated as update. Since it is a new setting.

    Your friends only get 'notified' when you first login as it is registering on the network, you don't get to send a message per se as you don't broadcast, they only catch a glimpse of it in the status updates?

    That's right. Contacts are being notified of the update. I don't want these BlackBerry notifications to be sent my contact list every time I change a device.
