Has anyone successfully managed to save BBM chats? Is there any way to back it up? Especially when upgrading the os. I hate having to lose everything

Ive notice that its nothing like Legacy devices it does not archive the chat. it just leaves your chat super long but when you close it the whole thing comes back. i wish they would change it back

What exactly is this? How would one access it properly?

No one has unlocked the os yet. Right now basically in a nut she'll there is a file on the os that says what folders you have access to. Read write execute etc. So you cannot browse the whole device since you can't access all the file structure. Once we find a may to modify this file we can then unlock lots of things. Doubt anyone is even trying to break into it currently though.

The BBM 'save history' feature is just that. It saves your chat history in a text file without any specific formatting. You can always get to it when you plug your phone in your PC and browse to the folder containing the backup files, but that's it.
It won't reload your open chats when you upgrade the OS.
