Just returned from the Doctors. Funny a few of us had Dental and Dr. appointments on the same days.

Heard the latest on Trump on the radio while enroute. His latest statement has me wondering if his "Campaign" isn't a ploy to make sure Hillary wins. Seriously. Trump used to be a Democrat and he's admitted being "friends" with the Clintons. If someone wanted to throw an election, he's certainly going about it the right way. He's not said a bad word about Hillary yet either. Interesting. We probably don't know what we don't know. As usual.

Did we have this conversation before? I'm so busy I can't remember but I think we did. Sorry if it's repetitive. I used to love KPLU, especially when I had a pad in Seattle. I've listened to their internet service Jazz24 a bit, but now prefer CJRT in Toronto for live DJ Jazz.
My favorite streaming service is now Slacker. It's only $3.99 a month (VS $9.99 for other services) and the block/like feature really lets you hone your music on each station down to a fine tune detail. I've got about five stations I created that are perfect now.
Plus Slacker has some awesome curated stations like "Blue Note 75" hosted by the new Blue Note Records Pres Don Was. He highlights 75 of the pivotal cuts from 75 years of Blue Note.

OK, time to listen to Jazz.

Yeah, I think we have. No biggy. Talking about music is never a bad thing, and I do Tune-In. $5 for the pro version. A one time charge.

    Good night.

    Yep, now I remember.

I love TuneIn. It's how I listen to CJRT and WQSK Jazz and News Radio and a host of others. I'll have to spend the 5 bucks and get the Pro. I'll do that tonight.
    Thanks for reminding me.

After you buy it, you can install the pro version on any device with no more charges. I also listen on my laptop from the website.

I have Beatles stations, Chicago blues, etc. saved in my favorite list. No less than 30 stations. Stellar Attraction is a cool station as well.

I think Nobex is better, with ad free for 9USD.

Tune-In does the same. The feeds have ads from the live studio. Some feeds are on-line only.

Tune-In is great. The paid version on my Torch can record as well. I have the free version on my Z10 and it works just as good.

I can record as well on Pro. I never installed the free version. I normally go for paid versions of apps, just to avoid the frustration of pop ups.

95% of the time, I listen on a tablet with Bluetooth speakers.

I'm an audiophile, so I have a high end vintage stereo from the 70's in many rooms. Yamaha, Sansui, Pioneer, and McIntosh. I have Bluetooth receivers on each one, and I usually drive the Bluetooth via my iPad, but the Playbook and the Chromebook work as well. Big sound. When I do critical listening I want very high end audio, so I mostly switch to Vinyl, but I have no issue with digital streaming.

In the office I have a Kloss Model 88 (like a Bose Wave Radio only much better) that I Bluetooth to. I have ripped my entire collection of CD's to the Cloud, so I can stream them anywhere I want.
Then you've got the thousands of streaming choices to choose from. I never go without. Music is central to my life. Especially Jazz. But I diversify. Classical, Rock, Blues and American Standards. I listen to them all.
