3 years ago, I became a cable cutter.
I get to watch what I want, when I want, without commercials, for free, on line.
If I pay for cable, I have to watch sh*t shows with commercials.
    That makes my brain twitch.
PS: I save about $950 every year!

A cable cutter is legal? I've never heard the term, before now.

    Hey Kelly:

I used to have Music Choice (I see it on your HDTV in your photo) and loved it because I could rewind via DVR if I liked a song or two. My cable company switched to Stingray Music and now it's APP based and you can't rewind. Wish I had MC back. They played GREAT Jazz.

Just got back from my workout.

Does anyone else notice that during endurance training like Swimming, Biking or Running, that the FIRST MILE on the Run is the hardest? I want to quit after just about every step. Once I get past a mile, it's clear sailing until about 10 k. Then I want to quit again.

Yes, I listen to it constantly. I love the trad jazz they stream, as well. They've removed Classical Orchestration. Not cool, IMO. My BluRay player has Tune-In radio on it, which I have been listening to for over ten years. It streams Classical KING FM radio from Seattle, my hometown, and which I have also been listening to for a very long time. Tune-In is a streaming aggregate, so it streams from planet earth to planet earth. Anything and everything.

Sadly, Charter Com hasn't made Music Choice available for streaming from anywhere other than the cable feed. I'd love to have it directly here in my office on a tablet to my office speakers. But NooOOooOO.

I listen to the Tune-In app on all of my devices. It's the only app I know of that makes me feel like I'm back home with just a click or touch. However, again, Charter Com doesn't allow Music Choice to stream on the web.

I'm a blues and rock pro drummer, but I love getting away from it when I can. Soundscapes is actually "New Age" in all other lists.

I used to listen to a lot of New Age, but burned myself out on it in the late 90's and early 2000's, so I just listen to Jazz now, and some American Standards and some Classical.

When my cable system had MC, the Apps never recognized the Cable Company's account, so I could never stream it from anywhere but my converters. When they switched to Stingray, now I can stream from anywhere. Getting the Stingray apps to recognize my cable account was easy, and cool. You played a certain channel on your TV, and the App "Listened" to the channel and verified you were a Stingray subscriber in seconds. Stingray is not bad (It's a Microsoft Company), but I liked the "Curating" of music channels much better at MC. Especially the Jazz. And not being able to rewind really is a pain to me. I was spoiled with MC.

BTW, Sunday from 6 - 9 is my "Blues Night". I take a break from Jazz and listen to a Blues show that I stream for 3 hours every Sunday night. Cool that you are a Pro Drummer.

I don't work out but I do ride my bicycle everywhere. I do always feel like quitting before that 1 mile (since it's a fixed gear it's worst). Once I passed it I feel like I can go on forever.

It can either ruin your taste and appreciation for many genres of music or deliver you from a fixed position on the same.
The only thing I can not tolerate is 'I lost my girlfriend' music. I prefer instrumental over everything, however, I listen to vocal music because you can't have only what you want.
