Think the guy that left the is looking for a new job today or is all a media set up? Nice looking phone, but it is still AT&T. Staying with BB for long time!!

You saw that too?
Verizon is my carrier and my wife is anxiously waiting for the iphone. If and when it lands on vzw...I will be getting at least 2 I think...one for my wife and one for my daughter (college bound).
That's why I am wondering if it was a media ploy. Not that Apple needs to, but with all the attention droids are getting, some free publicity doesn't hurt.

It would be hilarious, if this isn't the real deal, i.e. a stunt that Apple pulled...
Now, onto some disappointing news. If it in fact is the real deal, why on earth does it have a micro-SIM vs. a normal size SIM? I guess it's because they moved the position of the SIM...
I'm another BB user stoked at a possibility of this coming to VZW this year and will get two as the GF wants one really bad also (her 8330 is barely alive)
I personally don't believe this is a media ploy as Steve Job has been notorious as to not give out ANY information on his products before June. I would bet a months worth of scratch that this kid is now standing in the unemployment line as Jobs has canned many people that tried to leak information on upcoming products, accident or not.

No room for the full sized SIM. Plus, the microSIM slot hardware used in the iPad is probably the same as the ones used in the new iPhone. So, why build two different enclosures/slots when you can cross-use the components between different hardware you're making.
JRSCCivic98 - very good point(s). But, at the same time, for people like me that swap from an iPhone to a BlackBerry from time to time, that's going to be a pain.
I'll have to get an adapter or something, or better still, stop using my BlackBerry
I had a feeling after the Ipad was released with a micro SIM the Iphone would soon follow with that same thing. Just another way to keep all the apple products on the same page. We will see how long it takes for other mfg's to follow. It sure is handy to swap SIM cards back and forth.
I read a story that the person who found called Apple about the phone and they inturn sent a remote code to wipe the phone. It was said to have a high res screen than current gen iPhone and have an 80 gb internal memory. 80 gb!
Going to be an interesting wait.
