    Pearl 3G 9105 OS 6.0.0.424

It only took a few hours, but the 6.0.0.424 OS has shown up online to complete the trifecta of 256mb GSM devices. One difference is that this OS is only labeled as 9105 in the naming convention which is different from all previous releases. Nonetheless, it should work for both models (9100/9105). This one also comes with a new version of BlackBerry Messenger. I can't help but assume that we may see some carriers release this OS as an official down the line. Until then, jump in and enjoy this leak!

Just in case its for both 9100 and 9105 You can install and check it has "Blackberry 91009105.msi" in installing stage. Name of the file is not important.

Installed over .418 with no issues, .23 facebook and 1.11 twitter still there. As the 9700 leak this comes with .45 messenger with cursor issue NOT fixed! Damnit RIM.

Too soon to tell about leaks as with .418 my device sits pretty with 30 mb left for 7 days without a single battery pull.

I have a few apps installed

No, im not having any problems with the email setup.

This build is the best one so far IMO, memory leak almost gone, at least until I open SocialScope , battery life to soon to tell, but looks like the same, a little more responsive (maybe plaacebo effect), gained a couple of mb's, and it includes the new BBM leak (5.0.1.45) which the only improvement i see is when you open a BBM Group chat it opens it inmediatly.

    will post more findings later.

Yep, beat by far. Pretty close to an official I would thinK. Just the apps need to catch up to the actual base OS. How hard is it to fix the cursor issue within bbm even with this latest leak version? Damnit!

Big thing for me is speed and free mb after everything loaded. Deffinitely worth the 'hassle'. I installed the update using dm so no app is lost during upgrade

Just a quirk I have with os6 in general is with google maps, lucky I upgraded from 5 to 6 using dm hence my 4.5.1 google maps stays in tact.

Browsing google to check if there was a new version google throws out a 4.4.0 version which is way old.

Any work around to this? I guess not, until google notices us for running OS6

Good observation. I have version 4.4.0 installed. There's any way to get 4.5.1?

i've had the issue where over time the sounds will stop working. when attempting to play them in media player (both mp3 and built in phone sounds (ex. alarm sounds)) it gives an error stating cannot play media while phone is in use,

OF course phone isn't in use, a bp seemed to fix the issue at the time. will monitor to see if it continues to occur of i can isolate what is causing this phenomenon.

I have Pearl 3G. Just finished intalling it through loader. Backed up all my apps. I had berry weather td bank cineplex.google maps and about 5 more. Did a battery pull. Left with 110 m left. Loving OS6. Works smoothly. No complaints. It was fast too.

Running this for the third day, have not had to do any battery pull after the initial 2 after install. Memory sits pretty at 34 to 40 mb.

Apps t4BB, fb4BB, ubertwitter, docs2go premium including pdf2go, memory up pro, beret reader, world clock, wordpress4BB, 4sq, linkedin4BB, google maps, BB maps, quickpull, trillian, and google sync.

    Loving this!

Graphics just that little bit sharper. 3g and GPS locks good.

Found some sort of solution to facebook notificationna. Seem the app don't like it when you battery pull on it. So if you can log out from it first, pull the battery let phone reboot, and let phone load things off the rim server first then log back in after 5 minutes or so.

Hope this helps, I haven't missed any notifications since doing this and you can select sound profile also for notifications when pushed is enabled.

Shame, downloaded it before I realized it's for the 9105, not 9100.

EDIT: Whoops, realized it was just a change in the file naming conventions. Updating now!
