Sending a gmail message out to someone, does anyone know how to prevent that email from coming into your storm?

LOL...I asked this yesterday. You have to create a filter. Look back to yesterday's posts...you should find it.

Next time please do a search.

Log into your BIS account (your phone company's site) and go to your email account, and add a filter there...

***this works for ALL BIS websites. Also, find your carrier's website, here!***

I see you have to create a log in using your PIN and ESN... I am getting a replacement phone in days does this mean my settings will break/ and or my login will break, once i get the new phone?

Ok, well what about those of us who are on BES and not on BIS. How do I stop my sent gmail messages appearing in my messages?

You can also do this directly from your phone. If you go to setup, then email settings, it will list your existing email accounts. Highlight the email account, hit the blackberry key, then filters. Add a filter and when the from address contains your email address and choose the option not to forward to your device. Once you save you should stop seeing your sent messages sent to your phone.

Even though you are on BES, the gmail still runs on the BIS services. You should still be able to login to a BIS account and make the changes there

I don't send/receive gmail to my blackberry e-mail... it clutters the inbox. instead, I recommend downloading google's gmail application from m.google.com.
