Im toying with the idea of purchasing a Bold Or Curve so i can have more of an input on my forum site Berry 365

I currently own a storm and would like to be able to have more of an input on the other models... which is the best in your opinion.

Former curve owner here. The Bold is an upgrade from a Curve. The curve is a excellent phone but it's pretty dated. The Bold out performs the Curve in EVERY way possible.

My greatgrandpa at 105 has a bold and loves it. I want one. He doesn't even let me use it. I don't see why a 105 year old man cares

In my opinion, you should get the Bold, it's sleeker and it's an upgrade. I own both.

The Bold is a curve that put on some extra weight. "Weight" being faster processor, 3G, and keyboard size.

I highly recommend the Bold. If you find the Bold abit too big, then get the 8900. If you get 3G in your area, the Bold is worth the slightly bigger size. At this point, I wouldn't go with the Curve. Although it's still an excellent device, it doesn't come close to the Bold or 8900.

If you like the Storm enough, I would just hold out for the Pluto.

Curve user here, frankly i think they are identical phones, with a few minor diferences. The curve is newer and is much better suited for me as i found the bold too big. However if you want 3G go with the bold, i spend 90% of my time on WiFi so I went for the curve as i like the smaller size.

they are far from identical phones
thats like saying the BMW M3 is identical to the BMW 318i....they might look similar but under the hood its a world of difference
    Bold processor 624 Mhz........8900 processor 512 mhz
Bold internal memory 1Gb......8900 internal memory 0
    Bold RAM 128 mb................8900 RAM 256mb
Bold 3G,EDGE and GPRS.......8900 network EDGEand GPRS
    Bold WiFi 802.11 a/b/g .......8900 WiFi 802.11 b/g

Yup that looks about the same to me, slower processor but more RAM on the 8900, which i would rather (personal opinion no one is bashing the bold its a great device) Internal memory obiously isnt 0 or it wouldnt run no 3G granted as i said before if u use it better off with the bold. For me its the size the bold is just way too bulky for me and i have no use for the 3G

the 8900 does not have internal memory and the bold has 1GB
in case you didnt know the bold has 128MB of ram AND it also has 1GB of internal memory
    internal memory is not RAM
    internal memory= a 1Gb internal memory card

The 8900 comes with a 256 mb microsd pre-installed on the phone. More likely than not, you will be upgrading the memory anyway. The Bold is also $100 more, so it comes down to what you are looking for in the phone and your budget. Both devices are great, as long as you are not getting an iphone its all good
