OS 6.1 Leaked, Exclusive release by ALKi3 for BBH-Plus Hybrid Team.
Props to them for custom development and stripping down the OS so you can test the apps that come with it. Find links in Leaked OS section and also visit BBH-Plus.net.
Ditto! Which one is which? 9850 the Monaco? 9930 Bold Touch? Or vise versa? And where is Sprint in this mix?
I'm having trouble figuring this out too since the numbers are getting closer together. I'm pretty confident the 99xx series is the new Bold Touch as 9900 is in the higher range than the others, which makes sense since the Bolds are usually the flagship.
My confusion is with the all touch and Torch models since they're looking like they're sharing the 98xx line. If history proves anything, we can look at the Storm 1 to Storm 2 numbering as a comparison for the Torch going to its sequel device.
Don't know what relevance the Torch 1 / CDMA Bold of the past has but they went from 9630 to 9650. So the xx30 is usually the initial CDMA device with the sequel CDMA becoming the xx50.
Obviously the Torch 1 9830 never ended up coming out and probably never well. But if it did, that would likely be the model.
As far as the all touch...it's hard to say. 9870? I would say 9570 but that was the Storm 2 refresh that was canned. As much as the Monaco/Monza looks like the Storm line, it might not be 95xx anymore due to the all touch and much larger upgrade. So back to the 98xx IMO....somewhere between 9860-9890
....my head hurts lol. Safe to say though that this will be the end of the 4 digit Blackberry codes since we'll be moving into QNX shortly after this last run. Unless they have something planned still. It's a good time to run out of numbers lol.....5 digit numbers after? nahhhh

Ok figured it out...the 9850 is the Touch (Monaco) and the 9930 is the Bold Touch (Montana) almost certain all big 3 carriers will have them both released late May-early June

Yeah I was wrong in my other post. Torch 2 might be 9880 now. It's confusing when you have so many 98xx models now.
I don't want 6.1 on my old phone, I tried it and its just slow. With all the apps I have I only get 80-60 MBs of memory left, so huge OS will bog down my system a lot.

I'm suprised that there are leaks for phones other than the upcoming new releases for the 6.1 OS (since RIM itself stated "This is a major overhaul") I mean I can't upgrade Interenet Explorer 9 on my PC (that as Windows XP) because it only works on Windows 7 ...so how can 6.1 work on a 6.0 OS?

Err maybe I'm wrong but why would you want 6.1 on any current phone? Isn't it optimized to run on the higher end hardware in future devices? Would kind of sully the experience to try it on anything but, or not, what do I know.
i think there may be a 6.1 lite for users with current bb6 devices. theyd probably just add some features but not offer noticeable performance improvements. we'll see officially in less than 2 weeks.
