and also voice command options. Also it seems the "My location" feature is more accurate (smaller radius). It got my location down to 500 meters, which is way better than the 1500+meters in the old version.
I used to use GoogleMaps, switched to LiveSearch, had horrible slow results when I was in NY and so now I'm switching back to give Google a chance again. I'm excited to have street view - it's one of my favorite features on the PC version. It's so helpful to see what stores and landmarks are around and what the street layout looks like - helps you find your destination and figure out parking MUCH more easily!
Figured it out. I had my browser set to emulate MS Pocket IE and Google must have read my phone as a Windows Mobile product and sent the file as a Cab file.

I was thinking the same when I downloaded. I live in the UK and most of the addresses I searched didn't have the streetview option. I then searched for a hotel in New York and there was then the option for a street view. I'm guessing not all addresses have a streetview available
Digging the new update. Google is slowly taking over my phone. I just recently switched from viigo to google reader. Maybe we'll eventually see chrome for the bb.

Still won't work on my Bold with the latest OS .147.
Tried and died at around 20% both times.
Working Update~!
Installed while on the Rogers network only and shutdown the WiFi. Fired up like a charm and works perfectly. I'm loving this more than any other Maps/GPS I've tried.
