thought there should be a thread to share your favorite fonts to be used in the font collection app! if you don't already have the app i highly recommend purchasing it, it's only .99 cents!

I'll make my 1st contribution, but pardon me for taking the easy way out. I don't feel up to posting 12 ss of fonts.LOL. If you follow the ss, or BW threads, you've seen most of these fonts. These are all the fonts I've used in the last few days. Some of them are impractical as system fonts due to the size, but they look great with the right settings in BW! I don't think any of these would be considered "cute" LOL. Mostly Sci-Fi style. There's 12 fonts in this zip, with more to come! Have fun!!

hey just thought i'd let you know, FGKlara doesn't work as the file is over 90kb plus it says it cant connect to the internet when i try.

Can someone please assist me on what to do with these .zip files of fonts. If I download to my phone and unzip, which folder do they have to live in on my card? I do have that Font Collection app installed already. thank you!

Just create a folder called "Fonts" in the blackberry directory on your media card. The fonts don't have to be in any specific place, as long as they're easy for you to find.

last night as i prepared myself for what i was sure to be a disaster i was pleasantly surprised. I'm using filescout to transfer files.

1. Unzip
2. The files will be there "below" the unzipped file. (in the same vicinity?)
3. Copy to vclipboard.
4. Go to font file
5. On menu and find "move ******** to this file"

and it shows up there.

Once you have the ttf files extracted from the zip, you then open the font app, click menu and then "install ttf". A dialog box opens allowing you to navigate to the font folder and then the file. Click the file you'd like to install, and in a few seconds, another box will open telling you the font has been installed and giving you the option to apply it right from the app. For the font to be available as a BW font, you have to do a reset
