- This is a great tool. I've tried them all and I keep coming back to the BBH Tool. I have been using it since it was "just" Shrink-A-OS and now I find myself using it to create JAD's and the works! Simple, efficient, and made by the best.
Thanks Lyr for the work you put in behind this. There's a reason that the BBH Tool comes packaged with every single hybrid that I release and not any other shrinking tool.lyricidal likes this.01-27-11 08:19 AMLike 1 - Some users said they've had some issues with shrink, has anyone else?
Please post here if you do, along with your ShrinkSettings.ini and/or screenshot of your shrink settings!
I am working on v2.4, this is what I've got so far:
v2.4

- Added "Restore" for Third-Party Apps
- Added more URL shortening service choices: issimo.me, ota4.me, bl4q.me
- Added @BBTweaks and @Driphter_Com to Latest Tweet choices
- Fixed Browse for shrink settings
- Fixed handling of "&" in URL shortening
- Fixed Phone Tools not connecting to phone with new JavaLoader
- Fixed start-up message selection not being saved
- Fixed Total Files count visibility in Phone Tools
- Optimized Create-A-JAD code

- Various UI changes/fixes02-06-11 01:22 AMLike 0 -
- For me personally, you probably cannot add too many options, but I have always liked each new version better than the previous ones for this reason. Some options definitely belong in the advanced category so beginners will not be too tempted to use them of course. Keep up the good work!lyricidal likes this.02-06-11 01:21 PMLike 1
- BBH Tool is indispensable for me because of all the features it has - mainly create a jad, but it makes it so I don't need a plethera of other BB tools (although I still do lol)02-06-11 02:00 PMLike 0

- Is it possible to,
-add folder selection/creation for 3rd party apps backup so they dont end up in the main directory or at least make it send the backup files to a subfolder of the main folder
-add a small progress bar or busy clock while backing up 3rd party apps
-have the restore button always accessible to choose the folder where the backup is (if custom folder is added)
For some reason im not able to select the cods to save/remove after the file system is read.
Of all the tools, this is the only one closest to backing up 3rd party apps like DM does by backing each app with its own modules, except that this one makes individual jad files, which is great to have in the microsd for individual reinstallation.
Good to see this is getting improved. Keep up the good work.Last edited by gbsn; 02-13-11 at 03:49 AM.

02-13-11 10:49 AMLike 0 - For whatever reason, I still have the startup video in my JAVA folder after I shrink using v2.4. The four video files are copied to the REMOVED FILES folder, but remain in the JAVA folder to be loaded with the OS. Should I do something besides selecting the videos for deletion (and manually deleting the files)?
Thanks02-13-11 12:56 PMLike 0 - I can not install it in my computer.
Can you tell me why?
It gives me an error report whenever I try to install this file on my computer?

If it is in the folder, try right clicking the BBHTool .exe and click Run As Administrator - this sometimes helps as well. I use the Phone tools on Win7 x64 as well with my Torch (6.0.0.450) and it connects.
Does your device have a password? Could be an issue with the way its reading that
Let me know and we can try to figure it out
A few suggestions off the bat:
- make sure Microsoft .net framework is insatlled (at least 3.5 sp1)
- try running the file as administrator by right clicking and clicking Run as Admin.
On a side note: I hope to have 2.5 out this weekend with some fixes and additions, stay tuned!
