i have downloaded and installed BB Maps on 3 different torches. runs great, then after power off or quickpull, icon vanishes and maps must be downloaded again. has anyone else had this problem?

It is because of AT&T. Download a file called bb maps launcher. That icon stays all the time.

Thank you SO much for that link! I was too pissed that I couldn't access bb maps from my homescreen. At&t just wants people to subscribe to AT&T Maps and Navigation.

this has stopped. at least on my 4 active devices. the MMBaps icon even survives an OS change.

I had to find it to load it into my wifes new phone. I have it on mine even after going from .526 to .576, and you are absolutely correct, Shansmi.
