    Hey All,

I was browsing my usual tech deal sites... and I came across some pretty d@mn good deals on some microSD cards. The brand is Kingston, which is reliable to say the least!! (after updating this thread numerous times... there are both Kingston and SanDisk cards listed)

Hope this helps some people finally find a good deal on a microSD card so they can finally take advantage of the full capability of their Berry!!

I might even snag some for a backup memory card!!

    2Gb Kingston

    4Gb Kingston

    Update (8.15.08) : dead
    Update (9.2.08) : dead
Update (9.9.08) : Added a couple of deals I found today.... did not really hunt at all, just came across them
Update (9.10.08) : Kingston 2Gb microSD from Newegg w/ free shipping. Only $7
Update (9.14.08) : New Deals Added
    Update (9.27.08) : Kingston 2Gb for $6 added
    Update (10.24.08) : Kingston 8Gb for $19.99 added
Update (11.22.08) : Kingston 4Gb for $7.99 added (adapters included)

Check out this thread to see what cards are compatible with your device : http://forums.crackberry.com/f2/micr...c-cards-46673/

And the 4Gb from Kingston with adapter is... $18 bucks. I think shipping may be free also, forgot to check and don't have time before I leave work!

And don't you have to be a member at Costco and pay a yearly membership fee?? jw, cuz I am not a member... so that deal is not too helpful for me

Awesome!! Glad I could help!! And you probable got a more reliable purchase directly from Kingston

great posts. I'm actually currently looking for an 8 gig card for use in my mp3 player. (when i bought my curve, the guy at the vzw store threw in a free 1 gig card, which is fine for me for now.)

anyway, another great place to get good deals on cards (and most electronics) is Pricewatch | Find lower prices on computer hardware, laptops, computer parts and electronics

Have you guys never heard of eBay? $15 is the norm for a SanDisk 4gb shipped. I bought my 8gb shipped for 35. EBay is the place I always recommend for SD cards. But buyer beware of ones that come from China! Only purchase ones in the states.

Yeah!! I was going to wait until OS 4.5 dropped until I got mine... but then I realized I might as well get it now to have it and start using it!!

The 8Gb can still be used in your device now, but it may not recognize all the storage capacity. As soon as the updated OS hits... you will be in business!

Have you ever heard of reliablility and warranty??

I make a point to avoid eBay when purchasing electronics. You can find amazing deals elsewhere for not much more... and I would rather pay an extra 10 bucks up front and have a new product in retail packaging... with factory warranty!! Thanks for the offer, but I am familiar with eBay (you don't have to act like we are ignorant and insignificant!!) and choose not to take that risk

A-Data class 6 is $14.99 shipped from NewEgg:
Newegg.com - A-DATA 4GB Micro SDHC Class 6 Flash Card Model Turbo microSD HC 4G - Flash Memory

Everyday price for 4GB Kingston @ Newegg is better, unless you indeed get the free shipping from Kingston?
Newegg.com - Kingston 4GB Micro SDHC Flash Card Model SDC4/4GB - Flash Memory

For those of you who mentioned you were in no rush for the 8gb, putting this one on "autonotify" might not be a bad idea.

Newegg.com - SanDisk 8GB Micro SDHC Flash Card Model SDSDQR-8192 - Flash Memory
