    Can't seem to connect to the Internet on my Storm 2 at 8:00pm EST Sunday. Anyone else experiencing this? Yes, I have done the infamous battery pull.

    I cant use my BB browser or download anything, even on wifi. Which sucks because I just got my storm 2 and still have all default apps on it and cant get anymore until things start working. Hoping its just an outage...

    I am having sporadic issues right now. I can get some sites to load but others will not. For example, Howard Forums will load but wsbtv.com in Atlanta will not. I've done two battery pulls so I don't think it is with me. Everything worked earlier tonight and I have ot made any changes. I am in Atlanta.

    Called vzw there is a blackberry outage that is hit an miss. Mine wasn't working now it is but then went down again. Fyi

    Experiencing no BB browsing but all other data (BIS and BES mail, texting, etc) services are fine.

    Just spoke to the BB tech support department at VZW via 611. According to "Anthony" there is no BIS outage, but they are aware of and the network is experiencing a browser-specific issues. When prodded a bit, Anthony told me that their techs are seeing page requests coming through the system, but on about a 2 hour delay, meaning page requests obviously aren't working.

    Most importantly ETR: 2-3 hours.

    EDIT: MODS: I don't know if this rises to the level, but it would be handy to have this stickied until the problem's cleared. Thanks

    Isn't it weird that the outage is effecting both the WAP and Wifi? Can someone "splain" that to me? Thanks.

    This sucks ***. What the heck am I supposed to do tonight? I am NOT talking to my wife!

    LMAO! What's really funny is I'm sitting on a 30 meg cable connection and I'm trying to browse on my S2! It finally occurred to me to use the MBP next to the phone to browse. Duh.

    Anyway your question: my understanding is that (and I could be wrong) when we connect to the WiFi our data service is transferred to and from our home/work network... BUT, once the browser request hits the cloud it's directed to BIS. Kinda of like using a proxy server. Like I said I could be wrong, but that's my understanding of the network architecture.
