To start off with, I'm a designer who entered an awesome world of BlackBerry from being an Android user and I'm loving every piece of it.

When I was using Android, the apps there were (not all, but few) designed in such a way where they respected the platform they were building on, the guidelines they were suppose to follow and the users they were delivering it to. Apps in the iTunes App store are straight out awesome, Play store has picked up a lot & so did Windows Phone App Store. But BlackBerry? They're a mess. A huge one. Most of the apps out there in BlackBerry World don't respect any thing at all. They're all Android ports, if not all are horrible looking apps with "Built for BlackBerry" badge on em'. I expected more from apps with that badge.

I just wanted to give something as a designer to the BlackBerry community. And I would really love to collaborate with a developer who's equally if not more passionate about bringing out more useful apps for BlackBerry devices.

I'm in no way a designer but I am a native and Webworks developer for the BlackBerry 10 platform and I do share the same view as you that our Native apps should follow the guidelines suited for BlackBerry 10 and I am one for creating useful apps which I constantly update; I'm not a developer who puts out one version of the app and leaves it at that: I interact with users and make it better based on their feedback.

Therefore, I'd gladly join you on an adventure to create and design useful apps for the BlackBerry 10 platform

I'm happy to start working as soon as possible too If you have some app ideas then shout them out and we can then begin drawing up some prototypes

I'm interested, once I'm finished final exams (i.e. in May). I've had some plans for one or two BB10 apps to work on but working with someone else would be better. I'll have a full-time job and a bunch of other projects to work on but I'm sure I can do some contributing.
