I just found this out today, it's certainly unfortunate:

Discontinuation of Unity support for BlackBerry 10 | Unity Community

Going forward, Unity3D will stop supporting BlackBerry as of their next minor service pack. And stop supporting games and Gameloft games as of September. They are working to release a final build, however, they will not be fixing many of the crash bugs on current devices. Right now Unity builds in 5.1 are unstable on BlackBerry anyway. And as many have noticed, older Unity / Gameloft games no longer work.

It looks like they are taking the BlackBerry recommendation and encouraging developers to build for Android and port their games over that way.

It's a sad day for sure, Unity is a huge game engine and a big loss to the community. But at the same time BlackBerry is meant for Enterprise development - so small game devs like me will need to move on.

    Cheers

    Lloyd

I know. I've tried tweeting it out but... it won't change anything.

Java > Flash > Unity3D I'm done converting apps for BlackBerry. This one is their problem to figure out

didn't they pull a bunch of games earlier this year from BBWorld? games that lots of us paid money for. i understand no support.. but at least let us keep what we paid for.

This portion of CB forum is further evidence that BB is adopting Android as the OS. This is more than just a rumor.

I'm using 5.14 version and game(s) don't show any indication of instability. You're saying just make builds for Android and then export to BlackBerry format?
