I am a beginner programmer and I want to learn how to make fully featured Cascades Apps for Blackberry 10. I am looking for someone who can Tutor me (via skype or chat) a few times a week so that I can learn the more basic concepts and until I can get on my own feet when it comes to programming. I have taken some online tutorials on basic C++ and basic Qt. I know how to create variables, arrays, functions, and objects, but I have difficulty doing the more intermediate stuff like connecting to a database reading data, filtering, searching, etc. I don't even know where to start. I have downloaded some of the sample Apps and I do understand their functionality, but when I start coding on my own I always get errors and get stuck.

I am ready to pay someone for this. I basically need someone to guide me in creating an application with different functionalities from start to finish and someone that can be available for a few hours a week so that I can ask questions when i'm stuck. Thank you.

And I was going to represent him in a breach of contract suit Aside from Brians site, check his recent Weekend Coder post here in the CB Blog for other resources.

If you actually want to pay for one on one Skype lessons, send me a PM with your budget and I'll do what I can to get you a good developer

We do by the hour. AS3/HTML5/NDK/Cascades/jQueryMobile/etc etc

Good thread. I know java, interested in learning cascades and writing some bb10 apps too.

Not only is it profitable but an opportunity to be involved in something exciting as I think bb10 will continue to do well
