a few weeks ago I discovered Telegram Messenger and sideloaded the android Version in my Z10. I asked the developer whether they plan to port their app to BB10 so that it will appear in blackberry app world. They responded that there is an API so that someone can easily Port it to blackberry:

My question as a app noob which dev Software is best for this job? How difficult is it to port it to blackberry World without experience?

Hi,

There are two ways of doing this.

The easiest way (which, I think, just won't work): you can try to work around with Blackberry repackage tool

The second way is to make your own app with Blackberry Java SDK.

In the second way, you will have to make your own user interface, caching (because, I guess, Blackberry has a bit different sqlite/key-value/files API). The most part of their protocol java realisation (which is using in their android app) should work, except something platform-specific.
