Hi,

I have a question, I've searched high and low and can't seem to find an answer. How do I place an app in the Beta Zone, it says it's now open to all developers but I don't have a clue how to get an app in there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe you need to be a BlackBerry Elite Developer in order to use this.

Okay, thanks if this is the case then thats hardly what I would classify as open to all developers, in addition I was under the impression that the Snap2chat app was in the Beta Zone for a short period, I would be surprised if the author was BlackBerry elite.

Anyway this is very disappointing if this is the case but I thank you for taking the time to respond

Only BlackBerry Elites currently can publish to beta zone. Hehe..but registration is open to all

I'm not sure but it's ridiculous that there isn't any form of support from blackberry in order to address these questions directly. If you do find an email to write to then good luck on receiving a reply.

I'm sure someone here knows, be patient and someone will tell you directly and/or point you in the right direction.

Probably not a question they get asked a lot. Have you cruised the developers section of the BlackBerry website?

Yep, been there done that and the only thing I have heard on this and other forums is that some people think elite status is required. I've also addressed the question directly to blackberry betazone, even tweeted, no reply, weeks go by but still no reply, I think the lack of support is a shame, but sadly characteristic of what blackberry appears to be going through now. I'm sure if I was addressing a similar question to ms I would have received a reply a long time ago.

Btw, I posted this same question within betazone discussion forum a couple of weeks ago, not one reply.. ridiculous......

You could always go program for them if you feel it's better. I'm sure someone here can help you.

I coincidentally spent the afternoon searching for that as well, as the letter sent to developers didn't mention it was invitation only.
