verizon only lets you txt 10 people at a time..... is there a reason the limit
is 10?

a java developer or the same team that created visual voice mail needs
to add some script to enable mass text or at least mass send 1 voice mail
to 60 people at once!

would really be a solution for managers that need to contact all their employees within minutes, for any type of emergency.

of course there are internet based broadcast systems, but what good are
they if you're sitting in traffic?

Don't do the broadcast directly from the device. I'm not sure if there are gateways for voicemail but SMS has gateways on the Internet. So, make a service (server app) that the BB application pushes the message to along with its recipients. Then, the service can take care of routing the messages.
