    Hi guys,

Does anybody know if it will be possible to develop and run apps once BB stop supporting the BB10 OS?:

    Thanks,
    JP

Sure, as long as the tools continue to work. I mean, the dev tools haven't been updated in years anyway and are still chugging along. The biggest issue at this point is payment and distribution. You have no storefront and installation model outside of alternative methods.

Are signing keys an issue? I seem to recall needing signing keys, but maybe that was only for BBOS. I can't remember now.

I believe they are, once BlackBerry brings down their key infrastructure and the last developer key expires then that's that for third parties.

    Thanks guys.

Are keys required if I wanted to develop apps just for myself without distribution?

    Thanks,
    JP

From what I can tell debug tokens (i.e. what you'd need for self-written apps) also depend on BBID tokens.
