My application is designed to work via email. As part of the process, I accept incoming emails, authorize against the email account you have signed up with and perform actions accordingly. With 99% of email servers, things work fine, but when coming from Blackberry Server I have a problem.

BES seems to mangle your FROM address to something like the following SRS0=X0mzq8=GK=vzw.blackberry.net=youraddress@srs. bis.na.blackberry.com and expects the applications to use the Reply-To setting for responses. Problem is, this can be forged with almost zero effort and could result in a pretty heavy security breach.

Is there a trick to this, or a way around it, or do I just have to accept it as a fact of life? Is there a way to force BES to actually use your email address? Not, this does not apply to other emails sent from a Blackberry... gmail, yahoo, exchange, etc... mails all send fine.
