good performance, better walled gardens, adaptive partioning, nice to work with c++ and opengl es, access to the metal rather than a virtual machine, better memory (albet without autogarbage collection) designed for multicore processors, can use ARM, MIPS, PowerPC, SH and x86 platforms (lots o design choice for RIM),possibility to use aviage multimedia suite and audio processors for clearer communication.
