Does anybody know if it would be possible to write an app which performs similar functionality to AutoText (constantly monitor keyboard input)? Instead of doing direct string comparison, I'd be interested in trying to implement some regular expressions to analyze keyboard input. RIM doesn't block 3rd party apps from monitoring keyboard input, right?
Is the sourcecode for autoText available? I imagine if it is, the answer to my first question would hopefully be 'yes'...
