I have not had any problems with Link or Blend working on Windows 7. I would like to know the exact files that were updated that caused the Windows 7 issues so I can see if they were installed on my machine or not. It gets frustrating when people blame BlackBerry for a Microsoft issue. Updates can destroy things that have been working for years, such as Microsoft's own Journal app. When it is determined exactly which update caused the incompatibility then it might be possible to know if that update can be ignored for those who it causes an incompatibility. I don't have a lot of software on my machine, definitely not iTunes and I have not had any problems with Windows 7 so perhaps it is one of the optional or recommended updates and not critical.

that is good to hear, but from this http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...-link-1085973/ looks like it's a itunes issue, that not playing nicely with link. And for now BlackBerry has to break ties with iTunes for the sync.

I think the issues are popping up in Windows 10, not Windows 7.

Yeah. The Win 10 Anniversary update broke my Link. It started up, but signed me out of BBID, and wouldn't connect to the phone once it was plugged in.

However, I don't have iTunes on my PC, so all I did was uninstall, reboot, then reinstall the Link/Blend software. Started up Link, re-signed into BBID, and the phone connects again with no problems. Even syncs to my local Outlook.

With 7 no problem. With 10 it even won't start.
